Description

The Mahabaleshwar Seminars in Modern Biology were started after an informal discussion between Obaid Siddiqi and John Barnabas in 1974. In 1975, the first seminar titled ‘Genetics and Evolution’ was held in a chapel at the Green Hill Campus at Mahabaleshwar. The annual seminars brought in a wide variety of teachers and students and continue to date.
