In the early 1940s, Homi Bhabha greatly benefited from the assistance of Professor Rustom Choksi, a member of the Tata Trust who advised Bhabha at every step. Here, in February 1944, Choksi advises that a letter to the Tata Trust for the proposal to set up a new institute for physics should be "personal".
