Description

What is NCBS today used to be wasteland. Over the last 25 years, the area has built up to be a landscaped campus. The broader campus is also home to various insects that are used as model organisms; campus land is also used as a setting for research on honeybees. NCBS is home not just to researchers but to a mini ecosystem of its own.
