Description

When the researchers moved from the TIFR Centre to the NCBS campus in 1998, they moved into individual labs like this one (Jayant Udgaonkar's group). The new Southern Lab Complex favours an open lab structure, with one long hall, not unlike a scaled version of the original 1960s molecular biology unit at TIFR.
